Milngavie Choir - What We Sing

Over the years we have brought some major choral works to Milngavie through our spring concerts: Mendelssohn's Elijah; Mozart's Mass in C Minor; Brahms' Requiem; and many more.

Other concerts have struck a lighter note: Strauss's operetta, Die Fledermaus; Bizet's Carmen; and a programme of Scottish songs give a flavour of the range.

Our annual Christmas concert is always a huge success and receives an enthusiastic reception from a capacity crowd.

We have had the privilege of being joined by prestigious soloists and orchestral players for many of these concerts and have enjoyed the support of appreciative audiences - some of them have even been inspired to join the choir!

Several times a year, we are welcomed by residential homes and other local groups to perform selections of carols or light music; always thoroughly enjoyable occasions.
